Unexpected training - Goku training

Goku sat up in bed as he awoke from a good night’s sleep. “I wonder what I can do today,” the saiyan asked himself as he stretched with his arms in the air and got up, “Guess, I’ll go see what Master Rosh’s doing,” he decided eventually and headed for the door when he heard his wife, Chi-Chi, shouting from the kitchen giving the warrior a fright, “Don’t be late for supper, Goku!” With that the saiyan went out and flew south towards the Master’s island wondering just how Chi-Chi knew he was leaving the house, “Must be some special power Baba taught her,” Goku said to himself contemplating the possibility.

Flying slowly so he can take in the scenery of the mountains and the creatures inhabiting the area, Goku felt a familiar Ki energy in the area, “Hmmm, wonder what he’s doing out here by himself. Or maybe he’s not alone after all,” the fighter concluded when he felt there was something different in the Ki signature, “Well, let me go and say hello,” Goku said with a smile and headed towards the mysterious energy. As he got closer he heard sounds of an intense battle and kept going nearer until he saw to figures matching each other blow for blow, “Wow, he’s gonna feel that one in the morning,” the spectator said as one of the combatants got caught by the other’s powerful kick, sending him into the side of a mountain with a loud crash debris flying everywhere. The saiyan warrior found he was getting excited just watching; his saiyan lust for battle was getting the better of him.

The downed fighter got up and flew charging towards his opponent while readying a Ki blast just as Goku decided to use Instant Transmission to appear between the two fighters who got caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the saiyan, stopping the warrior from shooting his energy attack, “Hey, Piccolos,” Goku said beaming at the two namekians. It was obvious Piccolo used his Deca Form technique so he could train with himself, “Looking good you two. How bout taking me on instead, if you guys aren’t too tired?” Goku asked the identical warriors still smiling and with that he started powering up, arms bent at his sides as the saiyan got surrounded by a transparent white aura, “This joker thinks he can beat us,” the copy said to the original. The other just smiled and said, “Humph,” and launched at Goku full speed with a flurry of punches, “I’m rea-,” Goku didn’t have time to finish his sentence as the namekian’s surprise attack caught him of guard. Half of the combo connected before Goku could bring his arms up to defend, the alien from Namek was moving too fast, “That’s what you get for interrupting my training,” the other Piccolo said as he readied a Ki blast as the namekian bombarding Goku with fists sent him flying towards the ground but the saiyan was hit in mid-fall by the energy attack, resulting in a huge explosion and smoke covering the area of the blast, “How’s that for tired?” the original asked, an evil grin spread over his face.

Goku wasn’t finished though and sent Ki blast at his opponents under the cover of the smoke, his accuracy was off because he was using his senses to aim at the namekians. Miniature meteors came from the smoke, some of the blue Ki blasts hitting their mark but most sailing past the two fighters harmlessly. The smoke cleared and the saiyan was left exposed, the namekian warriors took the opportunity to flank the saiyan from both sides. All Goku could do was block and deflect punches and kicks, as combinations rained down upon him. That’s when the fighter noticed the copy was slightly weaker and slower than the other namek. He acted quickly, deflecting Piccolo’s punch and grabbing the copy’s leg as the weaker namekian tried to kick him. Putting everything he had in the pull, Goku swung his victim in an arc hitting Piccolo and sending the warrior spiraling down wards. The saiyan knew he had to remove the copy from the fight if he wanted to win this little exhibition match. So he kept swinging the warrior and finally released the Piccolo twin, sending him fly through the air but Goku wasn’t done yet, “Got to finish him now!” the Z fighter said as he got into the stance of his favorite move but he had something more up his sleeve, “Kiao-ken Kamehameha!” the warrior screamed as his whole body was engulfed by crimson Ki and unleashed the energy wave directed toward the copy Piccolo. The powerful beam swallowed the copy whole, disintegrating his body completely, but the saiyan’s victory was short lived as he heard, “MASENKO!” he looked at the namekian that was left and saw the fighter release a yellow energy blast. Goku was slow to react as his Kiao-ken attack always fatigued him but got his guard up quick enough and partially blocked the Ki based attack. “Is it safe?” the saiyan joked as he looked over his crossed arms, thin smoke still lifting from where the blast hit his arms, “Far from it,” Piccolo replied as he flew at the saiyan launching yet another combination of punches and kicks.

This time the saiyan was ready for him, blocking the namek’s three punch combination and attacking with a flurry of his own. Piccolo, however blocked the warriors attacks to and countered with his own again. Saiyan and namek locked in an even battle of damaging punches and destructive kicks. Both taking occasional hits, the green warrior’s kick striking the Goku’s ribs bruising it instantly, the Turtle hermit’s old pupil’s punch catching the side of the namekian’s face making a light purple color appear where the punch connected, but neither warrior was giving much ground. Just then with his advantage of speed, Piccolo managed to connected with multiple quick kicks to the saiyan’s body. These didn’t hurt Goku much but it got him of balance and allowed the namekian to smash the saiyan with a following through bicycle kick over the head, send him crashing to the ground with a, “Arrgh!” Piccolo dropped down landing softly on the ground, “Getting slow, Goku,” the aliens mocked as he widened his stance, bent slightly and started powering his attack with his right hand in front of his face, two sharp nailed fingers sparking with energy.

The Z Fighter was up already, however and also in a low widened stance, “You must really get those trimmed, Piccolo,” the saiyan joked as he cupped his hand slightly behind him, a small blue orb growing within his palms. He was going to have to give this some extra power as the namekian’s beam was stronger then his wave, “TWO TIMES KIAO-KEN,” Goku yelled as the crimson aura violently returned for the second time in this battle, “SPECIAL BEAM CANNON!” his opponent yelled pointing his two fingers straight at his adversary allowing a yellow beam with a smaller beam coiled around it to explode out, “KA…ME…HA…ME…” Goku’s voice echoed as the orb filled his cupped hands begging to be set free and the Z Fighter obliged, “HA!” palms thrown forward Goku’s powered up energy wave got unleashed viciously, the whole wave surrounding the saiyan's body.

Half way between the warriors, wave met beam with a huge bang. The energy attacks struggled to gain ground as their masters pumped more power into them, but Piccolo had reached his maximum power and had nothing left to give as Goku’s body got more and more fatigued by the technique he learnt from King Kai, but that didn’t stop the valiant warrior from going up another level, “KIAO-KEN TIMES THREE,” the saiyan yelled as a burst of surging power went through his body and arms, continuing through the wave swelling it up with more energy until at last the surge got the end of the wave propelling it forward, “Move out of the way Piccolo,” Goku called over to his comrade as he realized how intense this battle got but he loved it either way. The namekian warrior stubbornly refused to move till the last second, the wave severing an arm as Goku tried directing it away from his friend, the blast hitting a mountain making a part of it crumbled to pieces. “Are you alright?” Goku asked the green alien looking at wants left of his arm, “Yeah,” Piccolo replied emotionless, “Arrgh!” an arm popped out of the stump, “See?” the namekian's arm was back looking like it was before, “Good as new,” the saiyan joked fatigue starting to take over his body, “Great fight, Piccolo. You almost had me.” Goku said beaming at his old nemesis, “Yeah, maybe next time,” the seasoned warrior said to his comrade, “See you around,” the namekian took to the sky and flew away without a further word. “Oh well, guess I’m back to going to Master Rosh’s” the cheerful saiyan said as he flew off as well toward the sensei’s island.
