Characters story: Cooler was King Colds first born son, born an Heir of the changling empire. He was a gifted fighter from birth, he was called a prodigy prince, and rumor had it that he would become even stronger than his father. He regarded himself higher than those around him, treating others like pawns of a chess board, just a means to an end. When his little brother was born Cooler saw him only as a pest, a bug beneath his heel so to speak. His father obviously Favored Cooler, and as thus the prodigy prince saw no need to take care of the young Freiza yet. But this all changed when Freiza started his own empire, conquering worlds left and right.

Seeing his younger pest brother’s power increasing to greater than his own Cooler saw this as a blight upon his name. He decided to put himself into exile until he would one day return, stronger than ever and destroy not only Freiza, but his father also. His exile was masked as an assassination and he fled to a remote planet, devoid of advanced life. This world was harsh and untamed, the perfect place for a changling to train. As the years passed he became confident that his power had risen high enough and he set out back to Changling space. Upon his return he kept his intentions masked, not letting on that he was there to kill his own family. He discovered that his training had done little and he was still to weak to stand against his fathers empire, and also that his brothers had crumbled. He took back his place as the favored son, and is now awaiting the day that his power would grow great enough to reveal his true self.
