Have anybody heard of BYOND (Pronounced "Beyond")? It's an awesome online multiplayer game maker! It has a really simple coding language, with inbuilt multiplayer accessibility! You make a username ("Key") on
www.byond.com, then you download the engine (Comes in 3 parts; Dream Seeker for playing games, Dream Maker for making games and Dream Daemon for hosting Games). After that you just log in to the program, and start browsing the immense amount of games on the website!
These aren't just cheap flash games like you'd excpect to find on a website like 1000games when you google "dbz games", these are fantastic MMORPGs! Let me give you a good example: Dbz Dark Apocalypse, one of the longest going dragonball games on BYOND (Pictures below)!!
The creator, All Star, testing out the attack All Star Kamehameha. The window in the background is the Source Code, the game itself. It's not open to the public. You make a character by choosing a name, race, and if a human or saiyan or such, you get to choose skin tone and hair and all that! With some races you also pick your Karma.
All the races as they were 3 months ago. Some have been added to these since then. After that you walk around and, well, fight. The area you start in is SZ (Safe Zone) where nobody can fight. Go to the little tab named "Training" and hit Shadow Spar, then follow the arrows with your keyboard to gain EXP! You can also use Self Train if you're AFK, it doesn't require button presses but is much, much slower. Really, just keep on training. It's very boring, but when you reach the rank of All Star (Level 1 million, or as portrayed in the game, 1e+006) you can begin fighting other players without dying
every time!
Use your Techniques and Combat tabs to use attacks. Sometimes you may be unable to use Techniques. Check out the ki bar on the screen or in your vitals tab to see whats wrong! You can use the Technique "Power Up" to power up your Ki and Powerlevel (Health).
Some playable races are permanent, others are revertable, much like in this game. Revertable ones can transform to temporary gain power (Some revertable races are Saiyans, Demons and Konats) and some are Permanent, whose transformations give a permanent power boost. Unfortunately, Permanents (Perms) are unable to revert again, which means to get strong, they have to transform as late as possible (Again, like on here). Some perms are Nameks, Androids and Majins.
When training you gain Training Points. Talk to Yamcha twice and you'll be able to use them. For revertables, you can pretty much use them whenever you feel like getting a little boost, but Perms should always spare their TPs until they're going to trans. Why? Because if you use them to gain stats before you trans, they'll be counted in with the multipliers of transforming, obviously!
So, let's say, I'm a Namekian and I've trained to the max level, 16,777,200. Awesome, I think, I'll get so strong now! The ideal way of training now would be to talk to Yamcha, usse my TPs then get osmewhere a little more private than the SZ/Gym (Locations of Yamcha) and hit the Transform verb in the Combat tab. It will ask you to proceed, and if you hit yes, you transform! Note that only the first 2 transformations give a warning. My nameks stats are now 5e+023. Wow, that's a pretty friggin huge number. But it's not over yet! THere are several boosts in the game available by doing quests. Each of them will double your stats!
List of boosts:
Babidi's quest
Goku's Unlock Potential
Guru's quest
Krillin's quest
Frieza's quest
First time you talk to Yamcha (You get this just before you use your TPs for the first time.)
Wow, I've typed out a whole guide for DA! Well anyways, what I mean to say is, Byond is a very complex engine and you should all try it out! Thanks for reading!
