Goten's Training: A New Place and The Three Trials Empty
PostSubject: Goten's Training: A New Place and The Three Trials   Goten's Training: A New Place and The Three Trials Icon_minitimeTue Aug 11, 2009 8:46 am

Goten asked his mother to pack him some lunch, he was going on a journey. Normally his mother wouldn't allow any child of hers to go out by himself but she had strangely changed. He would train as much as he could during his journey. Goten looked in his lunchbox and he saw a sandwich and some juice, "Thanks mom!" He said, sandwiches were his favorite despite what was between the two pieces of bread. Goten had everything he needed, he even brought an extra suit in case he would want to spend the night camping, "Bye mom. Tell everyone I left."

Goten walked through the front door, he had devised three trials that would definitely make him stronger. Goten had written them on a piece of paper, "Trial One: Strength, Trial Two: Ki-Power and Trial Three: Endurance." Goten put the paper in his pocket. He had to go through the forest to get to where he was going. In the forest he would go through the first trial, "I need something hard to try to break." Goten said as he looked around his surroundings, "Aha." Goten spotted a group of rocks, "If I'm as strong as I think I am, I can break these rocks easily." Goten unleashed his most powerful punch, there was a crack but it wasn't enough he had to break it. Goten punched the rock again it broke but he still had a lot of work to do. He kicked and punched all the rocks, until he had achieved his goal.

Goten rested a bit and got to ready to go again this time he would go to the wastelands to practice his ki by destroying some of the mountains there. He would surely put no one in danger. He saw some light through the trees he decided it must be the end of the forest. He decided he would walk everywhere so he couldn't fly. Goten checked if he had his backpack and he did so he decided to leave.

Goten walked across a grassland, it was nice and breezy so he decided to take his time and breathe in all the fresh air. The mountains were across a river, the river was wide, extremely deep and the current was strong, so Goten had to ensure he jumped across safely. Goten was a bit afraid but he summoned all his strength and courage to make it across. He couldn't make it across but he was close to the other bank ,so he relied on his strength and clutched onto the other side. He pulled himself up onto the bank after finding enough strength. He fell on the ground breathing heavily and barely alive. He smiled, he was able to survive. He lay there for a few minutes trying to regain his breath.

Goten had almost recovered fully but he was able to get up and walk so he continued his quest. He had soon reached the wastelands, "Time for trial two," he said looking at the paper almost completely forgetting what it was, “Ka...Me...Ha...Me..Ha!" Goten threw his arms forward and a beam emerged from a ball that had formed between his cupped hands. The mountains looked like it took no damage, "Let's try again." Goten said, "Ha...Ha...Ha...Ha...Ha...Ha!" Goten said sending as much ki blast as he could muster up. The mountain began to slowly crumble and Goten began to rest but he wouldn't give up until he destroyed at least three of the mountains, "Next One." Goten said as most of his energy had been restored, "Ha...Ha..Ha...Ha...Ha!" Goten said releasing the ki blast as fast as he could the mountain had a crack but it didn't crumble yet, "Ka...Me...Ha...Me...Ha!" Goten releasing another attack, the mountain wasn't breaking, "Haa." He said putting more energy into it, "It needs more power!" He said as he forced more power into it, the beam broke through and the mountain crumbled. It took more energy than he had and he quickly fell almost unconscious. Goten woke up the sun was almost setting and he didn't reach his destination. Goten repeated the process one more this time on a smaller mountain. He broke it but most of his energy was used up but he had to press on.

The next destination was the North Pole at the rate he was going it would take him at least another day or two to get there. Goten walked slowly across a valley it was calm and there were a lot of animals, it was peaceful and Goten decided to set up camp there he reached into his bag and pulled out a tent. He crawled into it and the songs of the birds and wildlife lulled him to sleep.

The next morning Goten had gathered some fruits for breakfast and had changed into his spare gi, "Time to leave." he said between bites. He got up and began walking north; it would take a while to get to the North Pole because of his no flying rule. Goten decided it would be better if he ran, he began to run as fast as he could, "Here I come." He sang when he though about the third challenge he would climb to the top of the highest mountain he would see. He ran at full speed and it cut the journey in half, the snow was coming down hard but Goten was determined to climb the highest mountain.

Goten saw it the highest mountain he had ever seen. He tied his belt tightly around his waist and secured his backpacks straps. He took a deep breath and exhaled a cloud of mist. The beginning of the mountain wasn't steep so he could easily walk up, but it got steeper and steeper until he had to begin climbing. His hand slipped and he began tumbling down the mountain, "I can't give up," he said as he pushed himself of the ground and began climbing the mountain again, "I have to complete this trial!"

Goten walked up the mountain to the part until it was steep again, he began to climb. He made sure to grab the sturdiest thing in sight, and hold firmly. He pulled himself up and never gave up nor lost hope. He pulled himself up one last time he had reached the summit of the mountain, "Yay." Goten whispered as he collapsed from exhaustion.
