"Get down!"
The voice rang through all of the training field. It was very loud and almost deafening. Taisuke looked at where the voice came from. He then saw a huge ball made out of condensed ki coming his way. The Changeling caught the ball of ki. The energy ball immediately dissolved as it met with Taisuke's. The young Changeling sighed as he turned back to the training device he was using. This thing was called a Ki Absorber. One was supposed to put his/her hands on it and then that person's ki would be absorbed. A huge ki blast would then come out of the machine and hit the user. The machine could train both a person's stamina and ki control. Many people their ki here was very instable. For example the ki blast that was just about to hit Taisuke belonged to one of the weaker Changelings.
Taisuke put both of his hands on the machine and started concentrating all his ki power to his hands. Suddenly a message appeared on the screen ''Error, overload.'' The machine then exploded and many plates of metal were send flying in all directions. Taisuke saw that one metal plate hit an elder Changeling. Taisuke quickly made his way out of the Training Area. He would probably never go there again. Their training machines were cheap. If Taisuke wanted a real challenge and some training he would have to go to the Military Training Section. That would be a lot better tan trying to train on these cheap machines...
The Changeling started jogging down the hallway. He then noticed the darkness in the hallway. How further he got down the hallway how darker it became. He could barely see his own hands which he was holding in front of his face. He then came at a door. Not a normal door but a large door. He stopped for a second and started listening. He heard some voices and then an explosion. The ground started shaking wildly. Taisuke tried to open the door but it was locked. He kicked it and the door immediately fell to the ground. The young Changeling Warrior looked around the room, seeing two other Changelings and a huge robot. One Changeling was pink and the other one was purple. Behind the robot was a very large door.
"So here we have another participant, " Said the pink Changeling very loudly.
Taisuke, having no idea what they were talking about asked, "Participant?"
"He's not deaf!" Said the purple Changeling as he hit the pink Changeling.
Taisuke had no idea what the heck was going on. But the robot behind them wasn't going to wait for then to finish their dialog. The robot's left hand turned into a huge chainsaw. The metal creature tried to slam it's large weapon into the Changeling known as Taisuke. Taisuke jumped in the air just in time to dodge the chainsaw. He kept going higher and higher, until he was higher than the robot's head. The Young Changeling Warrior made his right hand's palm face the robot's head. He then put his left hand on his right hand's wrist. Taisuke started descending and was preparing his attack.
"Death Beam Cannon!" Exclaimed Taisuke as he unleashed all the ki which he had stored in his hand.
A huge pink beam flew out of Taisuke's palm and went right through the opponent's head. The robot's head was crushed as the beam got bigger and bigger. The entire robot then exploded and Taisuke landed safely on the ground. The young changeling Warrior walked to the pink Changeling and grabbed him by the neck, pushing him into a wall.
"Now you'd better talk or I'll show you the true meaning of despair," Said Taisuke calmly.
The pink changeling started laughing loudly as he got pushed further into the wall by Taisuke. "Guess you don't know what this place is or what is behind that door. There is a tournament tomorrow. When you went through that door, you entered the preliminaries. The only way to get out of here is by winning the tournament. There is no going back. That purple Changling over there is a participant and I am also a participant. And you just passed the first test. Now you we can all proceed to the next test."
Taisuke let go of the Chnagling and walked towards the door. The young Changling Warrior gave it one kick and it immediately collapsed. Behind the door was a hallway and a fork. From where Taisuke was standing he could see three doors. All of them had somethign written on the door but Taisuke could only read what was in front of him. "Trial of Strings." The young Changling Warrior walked at the door and opened it, leaving the other two Changlings behind him.
Behind the door was a huge open area with trees and all kinds of different plants. He kept walking further and further into the room until he suddenly couldn't move. He looked around and couldn't find anything that might be keeping him from moving. He then heard a voice.
"Welcome to the Trial of Strings. Survival rate: 0.3%. You picked the shortest stick."
The young Changeling then saw an Alien in the distance, maybe .2 miles away from him.
"What is this?" Asked Taisuke as he was still trying the move.
"You have been trapped in my strings," Said the Alien. "This is the Final Test before you can enter the tournament. Behind the three doors stands one person. If you can get the code from that person and remember it you can participate in the tournament. Now, try to get out of the strongs and I will tell you the code. By the way if you try to charge your energy the strings will only get tighter and they will absorb your ki."
The Changeling only listened to half of what the Alien was saying. He was looking if he could see the strings somehow. He then noticed that this room was also rather dark. He wasn't sure if that fact could actually help him right now, but he would have to find a way out of this someway. He then knew exactly what to do. Ki started charging in his body and he felt the strong press into his body. Blood started dripping pst him. Taisuke then opened his mouth and a large ball of ki came out of it. The ki went right for the windows, breaking them open and allowing light to shine through. The light started shinig on the strings, making them visisble. Taisuke came out of the mess he had put himself in and then walked towards the Alien.
"What's the code?"
